Eye Test

A regular eye test does a lot more than check whether your eyesight needs correcting. It is also an important health check that can pick up early signs of eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and age‑related macular degeneration (AMD), as well as detecting underlying general health problems including diabetes and high blood pressure.

Regular eye tests are especially important to help maintain good vision and eye health for people of all ages. Each individual has unique optical needs, so it is important that any changes to your sight are corrected and that spectacles are supplied if required. Our Optometrists will be happy to explain these changes and answer any questions you may have.

OCT Eye Scanning (Updated from Retinal Camera)

We now have an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scanner, which allows us to take highly detailed images of the interior of your eye. This is a simple and painless process, and the images are stored securely on our system.
OCT technology helps us diagnose a number of common eye conditions and allows us to monitor your eye health from year to year with a much higher level of accuracy than standard retinal photography.

Accessible Eye Tests

There is a testing room located on the ground floor which is suitable for wheelchair users.
